The groom at a seaside ceremony should wear something less stuffy but still elegant. Suits made of light fabrics like linen or cotton, in neutral tones like beige or light gray, are recommended. It's possible that a suit in a neutral color would complement a shirt with a tropical motif. Instead of a full suit, the groom can wear khaki pants and a jacket made of cotton or a linen blend. The groom should think about the temperature and the season when making his clothing selections. He should also stay away from dark or heavy colors that will only make him feel hotter. For a ceremony on the sand, nothing beats a stylish pair of leather sandals or boat shoes.
